Pastor's reflections

Monthly faith reflections from the pastor.

Reviving Old Scratch

Ash Wednesday falls on March 1. Worship with ashes, communion, and more from the Sermon on the Mount will be at 7 pm.

On following Wednesdays—for March 8 through April 5—St. Paul will continue its recent Lent tradition of soup supper, a book study, and evening prayer. This year, the book will be Reviving Old Scratch by Richard Beck. Evening prayer will be Holden Evening Prayer, a St. Paul favorite. As a special bonus, St. Paul will host Grand View University choir for a concert on Wednesday, March 8, instead of evening prayer.

The supper and study will be held in the Fellowship Hall. The concert and evening prayer will be in the sanctuary.
