Community Life at Saint Paul Lutheran Church
"The mission of Saint Paul Lutheran Church is to share God's
unconditional love and promise in Jesus Christ with all people."
 |
We
grow together:
- Sunday school
for ages from age 3 to adult meet at 9:15 between worship
services during the school year.
- Confirmation
groups of 7th-8th graders and adults meet
on Wednesday evenings during the school year.
- Three Women's
Circles meet monthly for Bible study and fellowship; a fourth
circle engages in various service projects throughout the year.
- Vacation Bible
School is held for a week of evenings in the summer. 2006 dates
are July 24-27.
- A Men's
Breakfast Group meets monthly for fun and to solve the world's
problems.
|
We
make music together:
-
Senior Choir (adults and
interested senior highers) rehearses weekly during the school year
and shares music each week, usually at the 10:30 worship
service, and occasionally at the 8:00 service too.
-
Adult Bell Choir
rehearses weekly during the school year and provides music at both
worship services a couple times per month.
-
Luther Choir (elementary
and middle school) rehearses weekly, shares music monthly at 8:00,
and prepares a lively musical to present to the congregation every
spring.
-
Youth Bell Choir (middle
and senior high) rehearses weekly during the school year and shares
music monthly at worship.
-
Chime Choir (elementary)

regularly
-

We serve a free
Community Meal, open to everybody, on the last Sunday of each month.
-
For the past 23 years,
we've served a free Christmas Day Dinner, open to all.
-
We provide Thanksgiving
and Easter food baskets to low-income households each year.
-
We knit and crochet
