SPECIAL SERVICES

Service of Healing and Wholeness
We believe that our God desires wholeness and health for all. About four times a year, our Sunday worship includes an opportunity for worshipers to come to the altar, share any concerns with a prayer minister, and be prayed for individually and confidentially.

Ash Wednesday Worship
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. At this solemn service, worshipers have opportunity for formal confession of sins, will be marked with ashes, and may share Holy Communion. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Midweek Lenten Worship
For six weeks during Lent, we have additional worship services on Wednesdays at noon and 7:00 p.m. These are informal and intimate.

Maundy Thursday Worship
At this worship service, we remember the events of Jesus' last supper with his disciples. We share in confession, have Holy Communion, and celebrate the first communion of our young worshipers. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Good Friday
-We participate with several others downtown churches in a Good Friday Stations of the Cross vigil. This starts at noon and ends at 2:00. We either begin or end at Saint Paul, and travel from church to church, where we share in prayer and hearing of the story of Jesus' passion and death.
-At 7:00 we gather in an intimate worship service to hear the story of Jesus' passion and death and to meditate on his saving cross.

Thanksgiving Eve Worship
This worship service, which includes Holy Communion, is at 7:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Eve.

Christmas Worship
We gather to sing favorite Christmas hymns, pause in wonder at the birth of Jesus, share Holy Communion, and bask in the candlelight on Christmas Eve. Our two worship services are at 4:30pm and 7:00pm Christmas Eve.
